Young, urbane women of
China are in hot pursuit of the latest trends and colours prescribed
by the fashion capitals of the world. Their passion for the
finer things in life, or joie de vivre, is captured in the energetic,
vibrant personality of our Colour Zone brand.
What we have set out to do is to build a distinctive brand image
that will appeal to our target group of consumers, aged between
18 and 28, who are increasingly urbane, upwardly mobile and
continually in tune with the latest fashion trends.
Riding high on the wave of China’s economic growth, coupled
with the increasing disposable income of the masses in China’s
metropolitan hubs, secondary cities and rural townships, the
Colour Zone brand finds its niche in appealing to the mass market
of China.
In 2008, the Group appointed well-known Taiwanese artiste, Angela Chang, as Colour Zone’s brand ambassador. A singing diva in the Mandarin pop scene, Angela also played leading lady roles in popular Taiwanese drama series.
As of 31 December 2008, Beauty China had 1,805 Colour Zone retail outlets, with the highest number of Colour Zone outlets in Fujian, Guangdong and Hebei provinces.
